Scoping and potential needs analysis.

Key action items:

Meeting with key stakeholders to identify the project needs and scope.
(If needed) Conduct a thorough needs analysis with interviews, questionnaires, and other relevant data to identify knowledge and performance gaps.
Recommend appropriate learning strategies aligned with budgets, timelines, and desired business outcomes.
Provide a learner journey roadmap in addition to a complete report on the needs analysis.
Determine appropriate evaluation methods and timelines.
Establish a meeting cadence for review cycles and status check-ins.

Identify desired outcomes, learning modalities, and begin mapping out the learning experience.

Key action items:

Collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to define learning goals and objectives.
Lead content transfer meetings with stakeholders and SMEs to learn and grasp the material to successfully meet learning objectives and desired outcomes.
Apply adult learning methodologies to build engaging, relevant, and practical learning experiences.
Write content outlines, storyboards, narration, and assessment questions.
Conduct several review sessions to ensure content accuracy before beginning development.

Build the learning experience and other materials customized to meet the business and learner needs.

Key action items:

Build the learning experience in the desired tool, such as Storyline 360, Rise, 360, PowerPoint, etc.
Incorporate additional learner needs such as closed captioning and accessibility.
Hold several review cycles to ensure content accuracy and implement feedback from stakeholders and SMEs.
(If applicable) Test the learning experience in your LMS to ensure proper packaging during the hand-off phase.

Provide you with all source files and documents to implement the learning experience.

Package the project deliverables based on organizational needs.
Debrief about the project life-cycle and potential follow-up revisions based on learner feedback.
